QR Text Codes

What is a QR code?

A QR code (short for Quick Response) is a specific matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code), readable by dedicated QR barcode readers and camera phones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded can be text, URL or other data.

A QR Code or 2D Bar Code is a great way to market your business, bringing immediate results. They contain text, and they're great for using on posters, in magazines, on signs, buses, business cards or just about any object. This first QR code contains the website address for our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/PresentationMultimedia. The second scanable code takes you to our sister site www.TheMobileXperience.com. Try them both out.

A user having a phone equipped with the correct reader software can scan this image of the QR Code causing the phone's browser to launch and redirect to the programmed URL. Save the image and print it out any way you want.

A QR code can provide businesses with the best local business results and improve the consumer-business experience.  However, this is not merely another storefront advertisement that urges passersby to enter a number for text message alerts.  It is a far more direct and complex marketing tool.
